A number of my best pictures show more than one shrub or type of bloom, particularly in the areas where I planted contrasting shrubs side by side.
My favorite, and perhaps most successful, combo planting is a 4ft x 4ft raised bed in the yard, which features my Charles Darwin, Claire Austin, and Lady Emma Hamilton, among several companion plants, for a mix of white, gold, and orange blooms.
